Do you even know what socialism is??

I would bet my life that if you are someone who identifies themself as a socialist, that you can’t give me the definition of socialism…This is completely Bernie Sanders’ fault. More on him later.

Socialism is all about who owns the means of production. “Classical” socialism according to Karl Marx is when the workers would rise up against the bourgeoise class of capitalists and take back the “means of production” and they would be co-operatively owned by the workers. The means of production is nothing more than an easier way to say every: plow, factory, piece of farming equipment etc. In economics, these things are known as capital goods and it was marx vision to see to it that no one person owned the means of production, but instead the workers who plowed the fields or toiled in the factories. Then the product of that works would be distributed “from each according to his ability to each according to his needs”.

Theoretically, this is an amazingly fair concept-on paper…when this idea is put into action in the real world we begin to see the massive flaws in marx theories.  There are several blatant flaws inherent in socialism. Everybody knows the argument that socialism destroys incentive to work so we’ll just leave that one alone it needs no further explaining, the first flaw I would like to talk about is about private property.

Essentially, marx believed (yet he gave no instruction on how to accomplish this) that if you just used the force of government to violently overthrow the means of production from the capitalist bourgeoise class and gave it to the workers everything would become utopian.  The problem is that, this has never happened anywhere in the world where socialism has been tried.

If you ask an educated marxist, of which there are very few, they will tell you that socialism and communism have never been tried because there is no example of a workers collective, owning the means of production.  Every time we speak of socialism, it is in a country where the government and not the workers owns the means of production and this is one of the inherent flaws.  Technically, marxists are correct-however, the reality is that Marx also wanted to abolish the ownership of private property, so how is it possible to eliminate private property so that one man cannot own the means of production and yet several workers can?

Have you ever been to a country where they do not allow private property?  It is assuredly an absolutely dreadful place to live. If one person cannot own a plow, how can 10?  How can you give a right to someone else that you do not currently possess?  To say that there could be a workers co-op in a country where there is total government control of property because they have abolished private property is like me saying that even though I don’t have the right to steal a car, I’m giving that right over to you the reader.  I do not have the right to steal a car, therefore I cannot give that right over to you.

 

Marx never even gave a game plan on how a society would manage to use government force to over throw the means of production and then somehow it would end up in the hands of workers and the government would just relinquish all command/ownership.  This has never been accomplished, so technically marxists are right-but actually they’re just absurd people and believe me I used to be one.  Once it dawns on you that you it is impossible to have a cooperatively owned farm, factory, business etc. without private property rights then it becomes clear that only in capitalist societies is it even possible to have the one true ‘socialism’, they will not teach you that in school, sorry to say.

 

 

If workers of the world owning the means of production is so important to you than just fucking do it already, why do you have to kill millions of people in the process. Also if you implicitly trust the workers of the world so much to own everything together so peacefully, why do you want only the government to have guns???

 

there is a reason why workers do not unite to form a collective organisation of a company on their own… they benefit from the shortterm wages, and the employer is taking a risk to gain a longterm profit. If the employee would be able to invest on his own, he could quit the job and do so. No reason to blame the employer for “abusing” his workers..

Just fucking do it then, fuck!  It’s like they need to enslave us all just to start a multiple person (worker) partnership!  God these violent fuckers don’t stop, 200 years of bloodshed over a fucking workers co-op, what’s fucking stopping you.
Socialists are such a committee
There is absolutely nothing about private property rights that prevents worker control of the means of production.  There’s some economic problems with it.  But private property rights doesn’t exclude this from happening.  So why hasn’t it taken hold if it’s a superior mode of production?? Because they don’t even know the difference.
All interactions should be voluntary, don’t want to work for the “man” start your own business.
Socialists cry about not having access to the means of production, yet they literally BEG the state for heavier regulations and stronger barriers to entry, which makes their personal ownership of any means of production even less attainable, and creates artificial monopolies. Then they blame their low income and poor living conditions on the market that they voted to regulate/restrict, and beg for government to steal money from their own paychecks to fix the problems that the government created in the first place by subsidizing social welfare programs to help them make ends meet.
The idea is to make living in poverty the norm thus eliminating poverty
Exactly. If we’re all equally miserable, then we’re all equally content, as well, right? The Venezuelans are LOVING it! They get to carry wheelbarrows full of cash to go grocery shopping. Pretty soon they’ll be using their currency as kindling for fires, I mean they’re weighing it instead of counting
I don’t know why Venezuela doesn’t just raise their minimum wage. Based on Keynesian economics, that would fix everything…

What causes poverty?
The answer is nothing it is the original state the default starting point, the real question is how do we create prosperity?
Capitalism is the default economic state of human existence. All others require organized enforcement. The moment you bring in a ruling class you no longer have capitalism. You can have socialism, communism, fascism…. but the moment someone tells you what you can’t do or have to do with your labor and the fruits of your labor you no longer have capitalism. Don’t confuse capitalism with state run economics.
